The irony of things..

It's one of those I-am-exhausted-but-I-can't-sleep nights. I planned to sleep at 9 but it's almost 11 already. OH well.

Work's been busy with tonnes and tonnes of new things flooding my desk and email box everyday (yes but I am only facebooking while waiting for things to load or resting), leaving me with no choice but not to leave on the dot. And I am NOT complaining. In fact, I am enjoying every moment (ok, not every moment, don't be so literal can!) of it.

The people at the new place are nice but not warm (they are not cold either) and there's no lunch gang that brings you to lunch everyday. I've come to enjoy the moments of solitude when there are no lunch dates (e.g. today when I went to the library to borrow some CDs , to be precise) and simply soak myself in the abyss of thoughtlessness and inconspicuousness (yes there is such a word, I've checked dictionary.com).

It probably sounds quite ridiculous that I am much happier leaving a job where I have little to do, familiar with what I did and could leave on time or even earlier. And a regular and some irregular lunch groups. Yes, I am glad to leave it all behind (for now). Well, it could be the money, the novelty, the freedom, the apathy (for the lack of a better word, or maybe professionalism?) that keeps me positive, I guess time will provide the answer.

Having said that, I know this is not forever-happily-ever-after. Meanwhile, I shall sit back patiently and wait for how the great-masterplan unveils .

The past week..

The past week has been nothing short of adventures and shocks. I have embarked on a new journey which has been by far unusual but not unpleasant. Still looking forward to more to come!

Ah Boy was in town with TW on Wednesday and I brought them to one of my favourite lair for a nice Hainanese- Russian meal. It was good and I am so glad they enjoyed the meal thoroughly like me. Perhaps I would bring Yun Lee and my cousin in law there when they drop by at the end of the month.Wooot!

Friday was fun hanging out with the big boys('cept the slave was caught up in something else and could not join us)and catching up with KellyBoss. Could tell how infatuated he was with YellowJello(despite the misadventure at the bar). The twin and I brought him to Rebel but failed to lure him into 'the cage'. We had a good time nonetheless. I totally missed clubbing with the Shield (aka the twin)!!! I want to do it again soon!!!

I had a good week. Looking forward to a great one!

Have passion, be involved, challenge yourself..

2009 was not a good year. While it is impossible to erase, I suppose the best I could do is to make 2010 a much better one. And so I decided that 2010 is a year of change. A year I find something I am truly passionate about, to be involved in something meaningful and challenge myself to reach greater heights. Things are looking good so far.

I've accomplished 2 challenges; by leaving my comfort zone and heading for the unknown and getting myself the long overdue dive license alone before starting a new life in the great unknown. So I guess the next thing I have to do is find my passion and be involved.

I'm looking forward.

My declaration of Love
I need to know how to feel without you.. I need to find myself, to give you the space you need, to move in a different direction from yours.. I want to know how life can go on without you.. I want to embrace joy, indulge in love, to enjoy every drop of sunshine that falls on me.. I will conquer my fear of living in a world without you.. I will live my life as though I had never met you...
