Read me like a book..

Don't you just hate it when people are able to read your subconcious thoughts like you actually printed them on your face?Especially when they are like your darkest secrets? It's dreadful and I hope it's just me talking too much. By the way, the conversation landed that way because I let my guards down and revealed too much, not because you've got intelligence or good 6th sense. But I'm glad I have you as a friend, had you to share that darkest secret, no matter how unwilling I was to talk about it. And to remind you again, I'm VERY self-disciplined and have got VERY strong will, except when it comes to shopping.

Perhaps I am just too conceited to think that I've hid my thoughts well. Still, I cherish the thought that I am not that predictable, nor am I that readable (Look what you've done to my ego). What happened was just a one-off thing and that was a terrible slip on my part. Bah! I just can't stop thinking about it now! Grrrrrrrr

I wanted to end of this post paying tributes to the very very close friends I've made over the past 2 decades or so of my life, to thank them for all the patience, tolerance and selflessness. I think I shall leave that for another day. After a 15hr sleep, the mind tends to lax a little more that it should.

My love-hate relationship

with shopping...1 is never NEVER NEVER enough..

Meanwhile, it's also great to be able to psycho people around you to spend. I am evil. Just go on and try.. no harm trying (except for that hole in your pocket). Speaking of which, I hope to remember to pay my shopping-partner-today for the dinner.

Anyway I like I was telling my shopping-partner-today, I will prolly end up with this crazy idea of collecting all the different designs and colors of those very nice sandal from TopShop. So far I've got:

(I just bought the green one and I can't remember where I left the last pair though)

And now I am lusting for:

Right..And I bought 3 pairs of shoes within 24hours in Penang. And as I look up from my monitor, I see another 3 pairs of new shoes on top of the computer. And I am lusting for new sandals. Don't you just love shopping. Oh by the way, in case you are one of the stalkers out there who have some spare moolahs to spare, I wear size 38 for these sandals. *hint hint*
Oh by the way, SATC is great! I managed to catch it free last Tuesday. Rememebr to go catch it, sistas!

Repeat after me..

KA-NI-NAAAA

I just paid for my 'PASSION' card replacement (alright, go ahead and larf, I am a proud owner of auntie card), and guess what, someone actually found and returned my card and I received it in the mail today. Nabeh, wasted my 2 trips (the 1st trip I could not pay cos' they only accept cash) to the CCs and S$5.25. I just paid for my TOPSHOP card about a week ago, they have yet to inform me about collection though. I don't mind them fnding and returning my old card and give me a new one, so that I can give one to unBimbo, and she can share with Donut.

Anyway I missed the TOPSHOP pre-sale today cos' everyone (including Boss) was so busy and I was too shy to ask if I could go earlier. Which is not a bad thing since I can save money. But I think I really like that pair of sandals. Bah! It's quite idiotic cos' everytime I think about buying something or having a good meal or a few round of drinks I can't help but to feel guilty for not putting the money into more constructive use.

In other news, in case you did not receive my email previously:

By the way, have you ever thought of how many beeps there were before the MRT doors close? I've always tried to count (Right, carry on with your larf) and today TWT asked me if I actually thought about it(Right, you have one more person to larf at), so the whole journey we were debating the number. My guess is 9 and he thinks it's between 10 to 13? Oh well. Let me know if you happen to know such a boliao fact. I promise I will not larf.

I thought my day was bad..

Until I checked out the news and read more about this and this. And the news reports were traumatising. Nature does has its own uique way of protesting. Dear TAO (aka The Almighty One), the people are innocent. I bet the majority of the school kids stuck under the debris were not fully aware of what their government did, and the many who lost their lives in Mynmmar supported peace and harmony. I guess you are just getting very frustrated with how things turn out lately. But please, have mercy on them, have mercy on us.

I am not sure how things will turn out with the audit but I guess it doesn't really matter anymore. For now, I hope things can just become better in China and Mynmar; and no more outburst from TAO.

It's just quite saddifying when there's only so much you can do and you have to stand around to watch things happen around you. It sucks.

Down, down and down

The thing about life is that you always experience fluctuations. Lately, it seems to be like a neverending downward spiral at work. I think we can never maintain a high all the time. That will make life boring and make people complacent. We need to feel danger sometimes, just to keep that survival instinct that we gradually lose as we get comfortable with our environment. RoarRRrRrrRr

I always enjoy talking to Rachael, though I feel that she is the more negative version of me. Which can be quite frustrating sometimes cos' I think I am quite an optimistic person by nature. Anyhoo she thinks that I am jealous over some things. Which I think she has a point after giving it some thought. I think I am quite sick, as in perverted sick, immature sick. beh!

Boss Koh messaged me just when I thought of dropping him a short note to say hi. I think we have some kind of telepathy. Glee~

My declaration of Love
I need to know how to feel without you.. I need to find myself, to give you the space you need, to move in a different direction from yours.. I want to know how life can go on without you.. I want to embrace joy, indulge in love, to enjoy every drop of sunshine that falls on me.. I will conquer my fear of living in a world without you.. I will live my life as though I had never met you...
