A life TOO ordinary..

There's been quite a bit of talk in the newspaper forum lately about university admission and stuffs. So, should the universities just stop giving places to the foreign kids who are depriving our precious dragon babies a place in the local, subsidised uni? I don't know, I think it depends how you see it.

I'm not a parent, never been one and probably never will. But I do know do know the extent of a parent's love, there is no extent at all. So when parents write into the forum with not very logical, not very reasonable or not very clever remarks, I do know where they are coming from. Afterall, who doesn't want the best for their kids.

But you see, there's a great ocean out there and if we continue to live in our lil' fishbowl, we can only be moving round and round in the tiny lil' fishbowl and never be able to know what's out there. *Pardon me while I sound like I'm supporting the Flash*. And we won't be able to know how good *or bad* we are. Would you like to send your kids to a uni which has a constant ranking of say, 191?

Oh well, we can never please everybodeh and life has never been fair anyway. We learn, we live and we let live.

Oh anyway, I will be down in Kuching tomorrow for work. My work is so exciting can.

My buddy AnnehQuah tempted me with a very enticing trip this year end. If I decide to go for it, it means quite a bit of sacrifices, big sacrifices like eating grass and not shopping for the rest of the year and not going down under for my freach raw succulent oysters and alot of other things la and living in poverty for a very long time.. But it is SoOoOoOOoo tempting!!!! BLEH

Hur hur. My 2 sweeeet cousins from KL to vist MEEEEEEEEEE!!!! and they certainly came at the right time cos' I managed to go on leave on Friday and we got to spend some quality time watching:

It's a little disappointing cos' I was expecting a giant Spongegbob and giant Patrick *ahh!! my love~~~* but end up it's just men in costumes. Oh well, at least they sounded like the cartoon (even though it's obvious they were lip-synching). Oh well, I love love love him nonetheless:
